This chest was built by my Dad in the mid 1940"s for my Mom. Over the years it really took a beating. When my brother offered it to me I knew it needed to be given new life. My husband replaced some missing and badly damaged boards and added new casters for easy movement. I decoupaged this with
mostly papers from K & Company . I added lilacs as that was my mothers favorite flower. The chest still has it's original key. This was my first ever altered trunk.
