Can I first just say that I love this line of pp?! So many people have done great things with this stuff already - it was easy to find ideas in the gallery, so I am indebted to deb-doodle, Miss Sweden, and TracyP, all of whom I shamelessly stole ideas from for this LO! THANK YOU, ladies!!
These are more photos from our Aug. '06 trip to Virginia -- after this, I only have one more beach page from this trip to do! Yay!
This is for a few challenges:
1. Scrap the Beach -- Week 3. We had to stamp on our LO - I stamped the date circle w/ Distress Ink to keep the grungy beach feel. The twist was to make a handmade embellishment - I made the photo corners out of scraps.
2. Easy as 1...2...3! -- 1. I used a chipboard '1' on the journaling box for "Cassie's 1st time @ the Atlantic Ocean!" The twist was to add bling, a butterfly, poem, or song lyrics - There are 6 colors of Stickles on here, and the circles say "Sandy Toes, Salty Kisses, Sun Bleached Hair, Summer Wishes." so that's sort of a poem!
3. Anything but Flowers. I did the twist to use photo corners -- there are 3.
I wanted to include the map that shows where this beach is on one of my LO's, but I couldn't fit it in anywhere so far (and I know it won't work on the last one I have to do), so I slid it in behind the top photos. The sun is the tab to pull it out to look at it. I've included a detail shot in my gallery.
