Very pretty! And very nostalgic looking. Is your mother still alive? I am sure that she is proud of how you did this LO if she is, or if she isn't and looking down on you from heaven.

First, what a totally awesome photo. Ya'll are styling! I love what you did with this page. The double layer of circles is so sweet with their little borders and the antique lace. Adore those handmade flowers and that cute butterflies. Perfect patterned papers for this. Hands-down terrrific all around.
I love this layout! I remember Leonard's and Monnings dept store...We'd ride the little train from the parking lot on the Trinity! Great flowers and colors!
Patty, this is just breathtaking! What an amazing job you did! The torn and curled edges of the photo just add the most perfect touch, but the entire lo is just magnificent! My eyes keep roving all around the page because there's so much beauty in it. What a winner!
How awesome to have that photo!! You two look so 'dressed' to go shopping. Not like nowdays, right. Beautiful LO too. Love the flowers you made. how wonderful to have that old lace.
This is so pretty, just look at you in your little dress and socks. I miss the days when women dressed up to go out and they dressed the little girls up also. But alas, I guess those days are gone, now its jeans no matter where you are going. You did a beautiful job on this.
What a wonderful photo! and you scrapped beautifully..it's so pretty and feminine and I love your velvet flowers..I may try that. Beautiful design and color.
Look at you in your ankle socks!!! And your mom looks like she is straight out of Leave It To Beaver! LOL OHMYGOSH, what a treasure, Patty!!!! I am so glad your mom bought this too...it is a keepsake! I love the feminine and elegant velvet flowers you made, Way to go. Nice punching, elegant pink crystals. Your mom is going to love this page. xxxx
What a lovely and feminine look this layout has! Love how you made the ribbon flowers - very creative, Patty! So glad you have that wonderful photo; what a wonderful keepsake!
For this LO, I did some paper tearing, rolling and inking to achieve a nostalgic effect. Made the pink velvet flowers by gathering one side of 1/4" ribbon, then glued on a pearl. Added my grandmother's lace that is more than 50 years old, as is the photo....LOL....All of the other embellies are from my collection of epherma.
For Mother's Day I wanted to do a photo of my mother and myself that was taken when I was nine years old. We had gone to Fort Worth to do a little shopping downtown. It was common to see a photographer on the sidewalk who would sell the pictures he took of people as they walked by. Mother bought this one, and I'm so glad she did! TFL
