What a lovely cemetery! It is such a warm sight to see so many flowers, because that means that someone remembers and cares. The markers have so much character and charm. Our local cemetery (where some of my family are) allows only flat markers that can be mowed over, and flowers are only allowed if the marker has an integrated vase. It is very manicured and tidy looking, but without the charm this one has.

I've always found cemetaries quite interesting -the different stories that are told and lives remembered - history for the looking.

While waiting on the guy to install Mama's headstone, i looked at all the different stones and how each has its own individual texture. No two are exactly alike!
