This is somehow disturbing, maybe because it bothers me to remember that often those doing the rescuing are putting there lives in danger as well. I am glad to know that these Good Samaritans have a place where they are honored.
This picture is taken in the side the little garden that has the names of the fallen men on it. The names are of those people that have lost their life in fatalities trying to help others. If you will notice the man that is bent down has a tow hook in one hand. The man he is trying to save has a child in his arms. That piece of metal in the water is actually a piece from a car. I had never thought of these people losing their life's while helping others. The museum is in Chattanooga because the first wrecker was fabricated approximately three and a half miles away from the museum. I never new why this was in our city.
