Seventh layout about our visit to the Louvre
Paper: Moda Fabrics for Daisy D's - Beacon Street
The matting is on solid color cardstock, I had a hard time deciding which color to mat in, so I used both green and blue for the fun of it.

Journalling on the left page: "The Grand Galerie/ Featuring Italian painters, most of the works are from the Renaissance period. As we were walking through the room a woman walked by and said out loud to her family, "There's going to be a lot of religious paintings in here!" Then I thought, Italian - Renaissance - Ya Think?"

The captions are the titles of the works and the artist's names, and dates if I was able to locate them.

Journalling on the right page: "L'Annonciation / Lorenzo Di Credi ~ possibly Leonardo daVinci - from the 3rd quarter of the 15th century. We were in a room full of triptychs and mantle pieces and although I wasn't crazy about them I went straight to this one. John put it best, "Leave it to you to find the one daVinci in the room."

Submitted for 20 LO in 31 Day (May) Challenge
