This is my oldest son, Joshua, with his puppy, Sophie. She's almost two years old now, but these were some of here earliest pics.
Journaling reads: "Joshua got Sophie when she was just five weeks old. She was so tiny - only about two pounds - she could sit in one hand. He has done such a great job training her. She's so sweet and loving. Now, she's nearly two years old and weighs about 65 lbs. But, she still thinks she should sit in our laps and loves to lay on us to take a nap. When Joshua goes out, she paces the floor and keeps going to the door looking for him. When it storms she wants to be with him... they really are best friends!" The lettering and the doghouse and embellies are all hand cut. I drew the design for the doghouse - probably why it looks a little "off". Oh well... thanks for looking!
