Austin and Braydon got their invitations to go skate with the Ottawa 67's and neither one could contain thier excitement. For almost a week all I heard about was that they couldn't wait for Saturday! I think they were more excited about going skating than the fact that it was with the 67's though. I was a little nervous for Braydon, only because he had NEVER skated before! He did fantastic though, well until he twisted his ankle and decided that he'd had enough skating for the day. Austin, well there was no stopping him. It was so much fun to watch him boot around the ice. Evan was perfectly content sitting with me and watching all the people moving around him. The boys got pictures taken with player 25 and then there was a group photo of all the players and kids together. It was a very fun morning at the civic centre. January 15, 2005
