This lo looks pretty simple but it was a lot of work. I absolutely love the way it turned out. The block with the key says: You hold the key to our hearts. For a few challenges:

The journaling is all handwritten. I made an actual journal on hinges with a ribbon to hold the pages together. There is also a page for me and their dad to write our own journaling about right now.
What is something dad always says to you? H: I love you C:I love you; he always says that
What makes dad happy? H: his family C: me
What makes dad sad? H: when he has to work overtime C: when I don't spend time with him
How does your dad make you laugh? H: tickles me C: being funny (giggling)

What is his favorite thing to do? H: play on his Nintendo DS C: spend time with me probably

For the ABC (KLM)Chall:
K -Key- The word "Key" or a key embellishment must be evident on the page. I have a key
L -Lace- Lacing or store bought lace. I laced sheer ribbon through the holes in the border along the bottom.
M -Metal- I used metal eyelets, hinges and ribbon holders.
For the Use Your supplies chall:
Week Three~
Ribbons or Fiber (and optional eyelets)
The twist will be to use eyelets too. I used ribbon and eyelets.
Embrace Your Handwriting Chall for GCD. No GCD product entry.
Also for a challenge on another site where I had to use a music group name for the LO title. I chose No Doubt.
