LOL, what are you gonna do if he outgrows the onesie before the year,,,,giggle,,,,mine all did, and they were not large babies,,,um, I think you should do a LO with the onesie actually ON the paper :) Gorgeous LO, even more gorgeous baby,,,,,,,how precious :)
GREAT job on the design of this layout, and for only being a month behind. :) I love your title work, and the heart around the top, right picture of him.
No improvement needed here! This is wonderful! I love the journaling and the ribbon on one of the title letters. Also love the big heart around the focal photo -- great job w/ the pull tab too!
I absolutely love this LO...it is terrific! I love how you documented each week and then the month, I wish I had done that for my DS! I love your lettering, your pp and ribbon...Fantastic LO!!! You did a beautiful job!
This is the one-month layout for my new little one. He just turned 8 weeks old, so I'm only 1 month behind, LOL. I wanted to capture a representative photo from each week of his first month. As you can see, he mostly slept those first weeks.
In the large photo, my DS is wearing a size 12-month onesie. I am going to photograph him in this same onesie each month, so I can watch him grow. At the end of the year, I will do a collage to show all 12 photos. At least, that's the plan!
The journaling reads:
Here you are: 1 month old. What a wonderful first month this has been. You are so sweet and cuddly and love to be held. You had a lot of fun this 1st month discovering your hands. You are still a little jerky with your arms, but your favorite thing to do is to bring your hands to your face. You try so hard to stick a finger or two in your mouth. It is so cute to watch. At your one-month well visit, you weighed 9 lbs, 12 oz and were 21 inches long – the 50th percentile for both. A beautiful, healthy baby. ~ 4/14/09
Week 1: You are 4 days old and are wearing a cap that a hospital volunteer knitted for you. It's green because you came home to us on St. Patrick's Day. Week 2: You are 16 days old and just had your first bath after losing your umbilical cord. Mimi dried you off and you looked completely content. Week 3: You are 22 days old and you are snuggled up against Mommy in the warm sunshine by the fountain at Stonecrest. . Week 4: You are 30 days old and you're wearing a size 12-month onesie. That was Mommy's idea so she can watch how much you grow each month.
Underneath the journaling is a pull tab that reveals an additional photo. I just coudn't squeeze it in here!
