I punched out the cardstock squares with the Whale of a Punch square punch, then cut vellum squares slightly smaller. I then put a little bit of glue in the center of the squares and stuck the vellum on (since I knew the brads would be covering most of the center I wasn't worried about glue showing through the vellum). then I put the snowflake brads through the whole thing.
I also cut the front of the card a little shorter and put a strip of blue cardstock to make the front the same size as the back of the card.
