Text reads: Cam did a slam dunk job on Mother's Day and surprised me with 2 tickets to MAE, my favorite band, that Saturday in Salt Lake City. We got there right at 7 and listened to about 5 opening bands [only one of which was any good . . . ugh!] The crowd was packed in like crazy, but we were about 3 people from the front. We sang and screamed through 5 amazing songs before we couldn't take the heat anymore. We left at about 10:20 and drove until we found a Chili's, used up the last of our giftcard and had a great dinner for only $3.80 out of our pocket. We crawled into bed and could barely wake up the next morning. i've never felt so old! I might not want to accept it, but I think my days of staying out all night and going to rock concerts are just about over. ha. [yes. cameron really took that picture. :)]
