What beautiful memory. It is a great thing when a teacher can have that impact on a child. I hope my children get lucky enough to have a teacher like that. I felt the same way about my Jr Highschool dance teacher.:)
Love your journaling! Thanks for the inspiration to scrap memories of those special teachers from our childhood! I'm so glad you had a Mrs. Dunlap in your life! Very cute page and so well designed. I love that ferocious lion stamp too!
It's Friday...time for a heritage page! Today's challenge was to scrap a grade school memory and include a photo of little you on it. This is me in 4th grade. Here's my journaling: "Mrs. Dunlap was my favorite teacher, so amazing and so sweet. I can remember hanging on every word as she read "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" to us. I remember that she was young, blond, pretty and had the sweetest smile that made me love school. I loved when she would treat us with this Children's chorus called "Goin' on a lion hunt". We would all sit in a circle and pat our legs and repeat the verses after her. She had a fabulous way of making each subject so very interesting. I loved that this year was an adventure and a memory I will keep forever." Around the edge of the page, I wrote the words to the little "Goin on a lion hunt" chorus too. Alicia
