This is so fabulous. I love the gorgeous aqua with the brown- so elegant and delightfully beachy. And can I say wahoo for the dream? I love that you did it, and scrapped it... and I love the layout.
Great picture of you, great background (do I see Berks?), I actually like the big flower in this! (I'm not a fan of the flowers!) Love it love it love!
This 8x8 page was done for the Cyber Journal Group challenge #1-Dream Come True. We were to make a layout concerning a dream that has, will, or you really want to come true. I had always wanted to go by myself on a beach trip. All by myself! Being one with the waves and all that jazz! So I did it!! In August of 2006 I went to Ocean Beach, just outside San Diego, for three days. This was a self photo that I took the first morning I was there. Everytime I look at this photo, it makes me all giddy and happy, cause I remember how lovely it was standing on the beach, listening to the waves! I used Prima White Voila lace behind the photo. I inked all edges with Brown chalk ink. The MAMBI quote tag pulls out to the left to reveal my hidden journaling. I used the uber cool Fiskars Boundary Waters border punch for the bottom edge. Other supplies used: MAMBI Quote tag Maya Road Female Chipboard Thickers Foam Letter Stickers - Daiquiri White Bazzill Basics - Fourz Multi-Packs - 8x8 - Brown Miscellaneous glittery large bloom
The tag reads: "....again we took to the beach for another day. " Henry David Thoreau
