My friend and I went to see Staind and 3 Doors Down in Milwaukee last summer. It was a phenomenal concert!

I wanted this to look grungy and kind of 'rock.' Not sure I succeeded, but it does look different than most of my pages, I think. I used stencils and dampened chalk to make the 'Doors Down' part of the title. I'm really happy w/ the airbrushed/graffiti like look to it. I also really liked using the silver paint dabber on the grungeboard -- it had a lot of air bubbles in it so it dried w/ a crackle paint look. The treble clef clip was black so I painted that w/ the silver paint, too. The butterfly rub-ons have a music pattern on them which I thought worked well w/ this theme.

This is for a few challenges:
1. Easy as 1-2-3.
This is my '3.' I thought it detracted from the photo to put another 3 on the page, so I consider the 3 in the pic to be part of the title. I did 3 of the twists: bling - there are sequins framing the bottom right pic; butterflies; and song lyrics - I wrote around the edge of the bg: 'Live for Today - God only knows all the places I've been but I love this life that I'm livin' in. I won't look back to regret yesterday. We're not handed tomorrow so I'll live for today. - 3 Doors Down.'

2. ABC Challenge - NOP Round.
N - Number -- We had to have a number 0-9 somewhere on the LO, title, journaling, etc. I have the large 3 in the 5x7 photo, and it's also on the ticket and in my journaling.
O - Oval -- We had to have at least one photo cut into an oval -- got it!
P - Pattern Paper -- We had to use at least 3 different ones. I used 3 - the green, the maroon, and the purple - plus the corregated cardboard. (My pp's are all tone on tone - so they're a little hard to see in the photos, but they are definitely patterned and not solid.)

3. Use Your Supplies - Week 2: Staples and/or Clips.
I stapled the sequins at each corner to make the frame for the bottom right photo, and there is a treble clef clip on the top of the oval photo.
