Journaling reads: We had a "warm" spell in late Feb. of this year when all the winter snow was melting and forming big puddles. The biggest puddle on the block was right outside our house where the sidewalk is uneven. We went outside to splash around. Within two minutes you had slipped on some sunken ice and fell down getting completely soaked in ice cold water. You cried and cried. You surprised me when after changing into dry clothes you wanted to go back out and try again. You had so much fun jumping, splashing, running and stomping through the puddle. You also liked stomping on the ice and breaking it up and then picking up the pieces. You spent at least an hour playing out there all the while holding onto that precious leaf.
