I had so much fun doing this, it brought back so many memories of Cyprus and everyday life, some I have saved for a later layouts.
Debs thank you for the Bazzill Stitchz template, I had a wonderful time, although starting slowly hugs honey.
Thank you Jocelyne Devoe for the inspiration
And here is the journalling if you have got this far :)
Our Garden, Home, 9 Signal Regiment:
The soil was a rich brick colour, we had a Pomegranate tree growing out side the kitchen window where our Chameleon lived, and Hollyhocks by the front door, a Fig Tree & Orange Tree grew in the back garden while the Grape Vine grew over the veranda in the front, at the time all so exotic to us.
I terrified Mrs. Kello with my bucket of Frogs on the path by the Geraniums, & hung on the garden gate when Uncle Bill stopped in his jeep, & sung “How Do You Do My Name Is Sue” to me. :)
We played dress-up with friends and built our very own house in the back garden with stones, door and windows included.
Finally I remember we buried Fred the Canary in an After Eight Box near the Fig Tree then Joy you made me dig him up again to check he was dead :)
Oh and this is for Laura's "Use those supplies" challenge.
