This is my husband and I at my oldest son's wedding reception in 2002.
It was also the 3rd time my husband danced with me. (4 times now ... in 36 years!!) (Dancing is like pulling teeth to him.)
So, the title is for my benefit (I love to dance!)

A hidden journaling card has the words to the song on it:

Could I have this dance?

I'll always remember the song they were playing
The first time we danced and I knew
As we swayed to the music and held to each other
I fell in love with you

Could I have this dance for the rest of my life
Would you be my partner every night
When we're together it feels so right
Could I have this dance for the rest of my life

I'll always remember that magic moment
When I held you close to me
As we moved together, I knew forever
You're all I'll ever need.

Could I have this dance for the rest of my life
Would you be my partner every night
When we're together it feels so right
Could I have this dance for the rest of my life.

This was made with 2 sheets of Basic grey paper and 1 sheet of white paper.
All the swirls and most of the flowers were cut from scraps from the edge of the greenish one and from underneath the pictures of the lighter one.

Tfl!!
