When my 15 yr old DD was 7 yrs old, she was extremely attached to what we all referred to as "THE DRESS". She wanted to wear it everywhere-the movies, school, the supermarket, the playground, the dentist-EVERYWHERE!! She expressed that she felt extra special while wearing the dress. (What young lady/woman does not want to feel extra special in their clothes? ) I explained to her that she was special and beautiful in whatever she was wearing. She was not buying it. (This happened after she wore a cape to school one day-but that is another story and LO! lol!) This LO is of my DD one summer afternoon at the Bronx Zoo. With of course-THE DRESS.
I worked 2 hours on this LO!! I am not sure how you experienced scrappers do it! Once I laid the pps and picked the photos, I placed and replaced the pics and embellishments over and over again. I initially started out with more embellies. I become overwhelmed with what to add to the page. I do not want to create a boring, unappealing page with too little nor do I want to go overboard with too much.
I am looking for pp or cardstock to match the dress (pink gingham) so that I can type/write my journaling. I will place it at the bottom left-hand corner.
I will truly appreciate your comments, suggestions or ideas. I have gained a lot of inspiration from the great scrappers on this site. Thanks for looking.
