Tendaji means "he who makes things happen." It must be awesome to hold a title like this one, but also overwhelming.
At first he thought he was given theis name because he's so efficient. And he is. He is the one that gets things done when they need doing.
But there is something much deeper behind this moniker. He is supposed to be the one who can actually speak things into existence. His name is the equivalent of the "power of Nomo" as discussed in the African tradition. This is the idea that if you believe strongly enough in something, and speak forth the words that put power behind it, then it will appear. This is also closely related to the saying that your thoughts become your words, your words become your actions, and your actions become your character.
