wonderful background! this is awesome gary! I'm not sure if I'm looking at this correctly, but the photo at the bottom left page looks a little stretched? Am i right or maybe it's because it looks small and I can't see it if it's proportional? Anyway, I love your idea of putting a year in a page!
To take an entire year and sum it up on two pages? That’s an interesting challenge. 2005 has been an altogether weird year. I was suffering through most of it in the worst job choice ever. On the bright side I did discover scrapbooking, so I can’t complain. It started off with an amazing cruise on the Navigator. Met some great friends there. Gordon and I cele- brated 12 years together. Went back home to see the family and then took off to summer on the Vineyard. Went to Indianapolis for the tennis. Became a moderator at ScrappyLand. Went to the midnight release of HP #6. Decide to go back to regular teaching and wound up with the most incredible group of kids. Hmm, what else? I started digital scrappin’ early and now belong to a Creative Design team and have started creating Kits
Questions for the Year End: What is your biggest accomplishment? This year’s biggest accomplishment was to discover digital scrapbooking. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but I have found my niche in the scrappin’ world. I would look at some of the paper LO’s found in magazines like Creating Keepsakes and think, “I could never do that!” But with digital I have way more control over the designs (and the finances) than ever before! Who is your biggest supportor in your life? In 2005 my biggest supporter has actually been Joi Treadwell the Health teacher at Cedar Hill. She has joined me in my obsession with scrappin’ and has been so positive about all of my efforts. Thanks JOI! What time do you get into bed each night? I would like to be in bed by 10 P.M. every night, but it never works out that way. More like 11. Are you a cat or dog person or like me both? I have two dogs, Scudder and Daisy, so I will say dog person and call it a day. What was your first job? My first job in 2005 was a Lab Manager at CHES. It was awfully boring. Same thing seven times a day for eight days straight!
