Emily~you take photo's that are not suitable for your scrapbook or extra's that you are not going to use. lighter backgrounds seemed to work best for us on this first attempt. Water, sky, light colored trees and mountains. Stamp your images all over w/an Archival Ink and then cut your images out..layout on a 'sticky on both sides' background..when you have your photo pieces where you want them then you add embossing powder, heat and then your glitter. trim your pieces if necessary and mount on a matte by peeling and sticking. We did have to heat set the images and the embossing powder and you have to be careful to not "bubble" the photo..so don't get the heat too close for too long. I've wanted to do this for a long time and now will be experimenting till I get it just so...thanks for commenting...glad you like it.
This is my first try at a technique they showed on Carol Duvall (love that show!). The images are stamped on 'bad' photo's or extra's. then cut and layouted on sticky on both sides paper. In between is embossed and some is a chunky glitter..MM corner sets off the eye.. this is about the size of a card but I think I'm going to frame it and hang it in my craft room..Would love your comments!
