Awww, that isn't so bad . . . you should see what my son did to his hair right after school ended last year (pics taken that day are featured in my fishing layout last year). I was mad too, and my poor baby needed a crew cut to even it all out. Cute page, and awesome journaling.

Bless her heart. She was trying to resolve an issue and assert independence all at the same time. The journaling will be a great memory to share again later when she gets a bad perm or colors her hair for the first time...So great of you to make this page. It is wonderful!

Butchered

I was combing your hair and getting you ready today and I started thinking… gee I really didn’t do a good job cutting your bangs last time. But, as your bangs began to dry and they started to get even shorter I realized in an instant… “Julia did you cut your hair?!” She looked immediately at her feet and said “Ah… no mommy”. I said “Julia it looks awfully short and crooked. I am going to go check the scissors to see if I can find some hair.” That did it. “Okay mommy, don’t be mad at me. My bangs were getting in my eyes and I just cut them a little”. Oh darling girl, you didn’t cut them a little. You butchered them!!! I was so angry. Thank goodness we are no where near school picture time and you have the summer to grow them back out again.
