My scrapspace is a tiny corner of my dining room. Our home is mostly decorated in a modern style, so I tried to keep everything covered up or contained and went with black, white, and light unfinished wood tones. I recently reorganised my space and labeled everything with verbs.
At the top is my home-made "Ribbon bug" I rescued a non-recyclable blueberry container from the garbage and pulled pieces of ribbon through the drainage holes. I used glue dots to stick the stray strands all over to the right of the hole from which it protrudes to make it a little less straggly looking. To use the ribbon you just pull the end off the glue dot, pull it out, cut it, and re-attach the strand to the dot. I trimmed it with a piece of wide ribbon so it didn't look quite as busy and store it upside-down, because I just like the look of it.
Below that is my store bought ribbon dispenser. As you can see I have a Huuuuge selection of spooled ribbon, lol! I also keep my newly acquired fibres in there so you can see them peeking out, but they are not on spools so you have to take out the card to use them.
Below that is the box that houses my Slice and X. It also holds some extra adhesives and stacks of quotes that don't seem to have a home.
the bottom drawers, labeled "write" hold my markers and gelpens. I love Staedtler Triplus Fineliners and Geliners and have 3 packages of them. They are hard to store as I can't bear to part with the hard plastic case they come in. So they fit all sprawled out in the larger drawer and everything else gets crammed into the smaller drawer (think first class versus economy airline seating).
The wooden box with drawers is from IKEA and used to hold my cds (who needs music?). Again verb labels: "Stickle" on the watch box that holds my stickles upside down; "ink" holds my distress and regular inks along with baby washclothes that I use for clean-up; "emboss" holds my embossing gun, powders, liquids, and a swiffer cloth for anti-static-ing my page; and "paint" holds my modest collection of paints and brushes (I have 3 paints, 2 puffy paints, and one crackle paint, lol!).
The large black box beside the wooden box holds all my punches except my corner rounders which are in a pocket in my tool bag, which sits above the "punch" box. It holds essential tools such as adhesives, pencil, tweezers, a dry embossing tool (which I put a glue dot on one end of to use it for picking tiny things up and I use the other end for holding things down), white staedtler eraser, nail files, pokers, Zig Writers in black and brown, and my white gelpen (thanks, swap sister MommaSaid!).
