This is one of my favorite photos of my beloved Cassie. Cassie loved the camera and the camera loved her and every photograph I have of her I would swear she is smiling. Every year I would take Cassie to the Picture People in the mall to have Christmas card photos taken. This photo was taken in November of 2000 just after she turned 5 years old. Cassie was a gentle soul and loved people and the day she died was a very heart breaking to many. But for me was one of the worst days of my life. Cassie was not sick, she was not hurt and yet she was taken from me after six short years of having her. I miss her dearly and have not and will not ever forget her.
