This is my first attempt at a chipboard album. I started this album at Creating Keepsakes University in May of 2009 -the Rusty Pickle album track. I began by covering the chipboard with brown patterned paper. I layered on some circles and hearts and then made the shaker box. It is actually made from some of the framing around the RP tags and frames! The picture is of our first house and inside the shaker are some buttons, beads and a 1993 penny (year we purchased the house). The shaker frame is covered with paper and distressed. The picture is actually mounted behind the entire shaker box as there are two sides of clear plastic. Then I painted the chipboard letters, sanded and inked them before tying on some sheer gold ribbon and adhering them to the album front. The finished album is HUGE 12 x 12 and about 3 inches thick!
