What a sweet story - it brought tears to my eyes. Just an awesome story on how you came to adopt her - it really, really is touching! This is such an awesome LO, TFS!
Journaling Reads: Kylie is one of my pound puppies. In Nov. 2003 I was talking to a friend of mine online who had recently lost her great dane and started looking at the aspca.com. she stepped away and I changed my search from great danes to rottweilers and came across this adorable sad looking rott whose stare just begged me to adopt her, her story was a sad one. Her original owners were moving so they had to get rid of her and when she was adopted from the shelter she was left at she was never fixed and ended up having puppies. Well, after the puppies were weaned she was thrown into the street where she was hit by a car. She was patched up including a pin in her leg and put up for adoption, well no one wanted her due to the pin in her leg but since she was in a no kill shelter she stayed there for just over a year before I saw her and came to her rescue. At that time I wasn’t looking to get another dog but decided that if she was there in January that I would get her and sure enough she was still there so I drove all the way to Laport Indiana and picked her up. Kylie is a sweetie, she is very mellow and all about attention. She doesn’t give kisses but she is affectionate in her own way. She’s just a big baby that thinks she’s a lap dog.
