I think the journaling says it all:

I wish I had the metabolism of an 18-year old! I didn't realize that when I celebrated by 40th birthday - I would also be mourning a dying metabolism! What's up with that? I have the spirit of an 18-year old; why can't I have the metabolism of an 18-year old?
