Going through some of my folks old slides - I found this great family photo taken in my grandparent's orchard.
Journaling Reads:
Yep, that’s me – the little squirt in the lower right-hand corner. I was about 3-1/2 when this photo was taken so I don’t recall the exact day or the event that brought my family to my grandparents. Memories of my grandparent’s orchard were that of my grandfather. Pappy, as the grandkids called him – would be so proud of each year’s blooming orchard, with hopes of what the fall harvest would yield. Late summer would find my Pappy with his pocket knife canvassing the full trees for the perfect fruit sample. Juice running down our fingers to our elbows brought smiles to all. Memories of yesterday that I will forever cherish.
