This is a lo I did for my husband in lieu of a card for our anniversary today. It's been five years. PPs are Cosmo Cricket and Little Yellow Bicycle. The words my and belong I wrote with a white pen on black cardstock and then cut them out. The 2 is a foam 2 mounted on black cardstock and wrapped with green lace. I painted the background by using that stuff with all the holes in it(not bubble wrap) and kind of stamping with it. I painted the border around the layout and I used another die cut paper as a template for this shape by tracing around it and cutting it out.
The journaling reads:
David,
I should tell you more often how fortunate I feel to have you as my husband and as the father of our children. I should tell you more often that with every day that passes, I'm sure that I love you more than the day before. I should tell you more often that the level of respect that I have for you as a person goes unmatched.I should make an effort to tell you more often how hilarious you are and how much I count on your sense of humour at the end of the day. I should let you know more often how you are always the person who knows how to make me feel better when I'm down (when you want to). I should try to tell you more often that you are exactly what I want and need in my life and I can't picture anything but you. I thought our 5th anniversary would serve as the perfect time to tell you all of these things and to remind you of how my heart belongs to you now and forever. Happy 5th anniversary David!
