A tribute to my father-in-law who passed away 2 years ago. He lived on his boat "The Wild Goose" for 15 years after his wife died-( a dream they both had) and was a long time member of the Coast Guard Aux. After his death his 3 children had The Fletcher Memorial Garden built at the care home where he spent his last 2 years. There is a huge gazebo, large paths, raised flower bed (all built for wheelchairs in mind) and a anchor with a plaque which reads "Home Is The Sailor". All this was designed by his granddaughter, an architect! May many others be blessed as they use this garden!
The blue pp is from MY Mind's Eye. I added some pins he wore when in the Coast Guard Aux.
