This is an awesome photo! I have to research the bore tides... sounds a bit scary, and with the photos last month, I can't imagine being in that water.

wow, after the pics from last month I researched the bore tides, saw some videos of it on u-tube, so interesting, there were people surfing in it, crazy, this looks a little nuts too.

PoD 7/05 - Kite-Surfing

While driving home today along the Seward Hwy, we spotted several kite-surfers out in Cook Inlet. You don't often see human activity in the inlet, due to the dangerous currents of the bore tide, but the day was exceptionally warm (high 70sF) and we were not surprised to see them!
