I was tending my little grandchildren last week while their parents went on a second honeymoon of sorts. I was finally able to get a photo of my grandson and I together...not the best photo as I was trying to hold the camera out in front of us while he was squirming on my lap. At any rate, I was able to scrap this lo of a conversation he had with his mom a couple weeks ago and my response to it. Journaling: Ever since my teen years, I have never really appreciated being called cute. I longed to be hot, or beautiful, or pretty...not cute. My perspective on this has recently changed, however. A couple of weeks ago, my daughter called and told me my little grandson saw my picture and said, "Grandma cute". She said, "Tyler is grandma cute?" He then replied with glee..."Grandma is the cutest EVER!" Cute is now music to my ears!
