Super cute design and happy page. Love what you did with the blue doodle paper. I just ordered it last week. All the layers are terrific and the painted greenery is fab.
Yes, it is nifty that he's fifty (cause that's older than ME!) Always happy to have someone be older than me, you know! The layout is great~you always make everything look so perfect! Still love your work, my friend!
Love that fancy pants background! What a great birthday bash! Most people that age would have been in bed by midnight!! LOL!!! Awesome layout...and NOW I have to get those FP stamps!!! ENABLER!!!
such a great layout! great job on the lift! so many fun and fabulous details...and I really enjoyed reading your description! Looks like it was one fabulous party!
With the delightful, funny personality that comes across from your layouts and comments, I'm surprised your guests ever leave! I'll bet you throw one hell of a party! I love the ticket stubs and star bursts behind! A very festive, pretty page!
Love the flowers wih threaded buttons and the border you doodled (first thing I noticed) You created a wonderful design for a preciious occasion. Glad to see so many A-Teamers still at the party....it looks like this group keeps y'all young! I think 50 is only a number, anyway!
what a great page--and lift--just awesome!!!! and everyone is having such a great time--------------and well---when ya see pics with the solo cups--ya know whats up--hahahhahaha---------
A page of my DH's 50 birthday in 2007. This is some of the people that were still at the party at midnight. About half the people had gone home by then. I wish we'd have gotten a picture earlier. Nate, the guy kneeling in the bottom right corner is the one that got everyone together for the picture. Poor guy. He was so stressed trying to get all of us to participate and the same time. LOL!! My DH is the one in the middle with the white t-shirt with the big 50 on it.
This is for the 'Scrap your family events' challenge. we had to use journaling and paint. I used paint on the greenery. It's done with a stamp that I used paint on instead of ink. I also painted the scalloped edges around the journal circle.
This is also for Sue's challenge over in the Leopard Lounge. We had to lift a page of someone else that's in the lounge. I lifted a page by the ever awesome Patti Poo titled 'Home is where the heart is'. Here's the original. http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/287693/view/2222737/-1/0/1.html
