Great take on the mini. It seems endless whenever/wherever you are when you get to put putting along in traffic like that. Sure hope the smoke gets cleared up soon.
I feel so blessed to live in a small community and even the nearest town is small! This kind of traffic everyday? I would be a nervous wreck ( no pun intended!) and I don't drive! Great take~
wow - that smoke must be horrid to deal with. Hope it clears soon. As for the traffic - I see the same daily on my commute. LUCKILY I take a commuter bus and we have separate lanes from the normal car traffic so USUALLY I'm not stuck in it ... but every day looks like this on the approach to NYC from NJ. BLECK BLECK BLECK
For some unknown reason, traffic crawled north along the Glenn Hwy this evening as I drove home. The speed limit is 65 mph, but for about 3/4 of the 12 mile drive, we put-putted along between 10-30 mph.
I took this pic of the ENDLESS miles of traffic! Oh - and the reason for the dark sky is that there are approx 70 wildfires burning in Alaska right now and the largest ones have been sending smoke and ash over our area for the past several days. The stuff is so thick it even obliterates the mountains, which - on a clear day - you'd be able to see at the center of this shot.
