This is a special page I did for my daughter, McKayla. Since the age of 2 she has been following in my footsteps with her love of art. She can fill a whole day just drawing, coloring, or painting away. When you ask her what she wants to be when she grows up, her answer is, "an artist!" I tell her she already is one...

These are various art pieces she has made over the past year. I scanned them and shrunk them down to fit my layout. Each one is on a flap that can be lifted/opened to reveal the title and date, of the piece. Some I remembered to record her age when she made it and/or why she made it (ex: the butterfly was for father's day) and that was included in the description as well.

I made my own rub-on (thanks to sb.com's fabulous tips area and someone's ingenious idea) for the ART definition...it reads - ART 1: the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects 2: decorative or illustrative elements in printed matter (definition from webster's)

circles (LR corner) read- "be inspired 2 inspire others" (which I think is why a lot of us make "art")
