This is my version of a scraproom. It used to be my laundry room. The desk sits right where the washer and dryer used to be. Our house is 3 bedrooms but, with two kids I really can't spare any other space. So, my husband and father-in-law moved the washer and dryer into a closet in the garage which we also turned into a new "family room". It's all open to the rest of the house and has become invaluable. I have the cabinets and drawers that you see in the pic but, I also have a multi purpose closet adjacent to the scraproom. My husband commented just yesterday that it appears to be that I am taking over that closet with all my paper and photo boxes. lol, Oh well what can I say I'm addicted! The desk / chair is counter height which works really well for me because usually the only time I have to scrap is whenever my kids are chasing after me, so standing and passing through while I do other things is my only option. Also, I think you get a better visual of what your working on from the standing angle. I don't have alot of suplies out for two reasons: Little hands would be touching them if they were out and also, I work better without all the clutter of everything being out. TFL!!
