I did this for the Lyrics challenge for July. I chose the song Traveling Solider by Dixie Chicks. We had to pick a patriotic song and this song may not be patriotic, but when I think about patriotic, I think of our soldiers fighting and that brought me too this song. I am married to a traveling solider and I wanted to scap about it. The photos are number from top to bottom and the journaling says, "1. This was after he got back from 15 months in Iraq. 2. This was at the bowling Alley when Roy came home for mid-tour. 3. This is a photo of Roy in Iraq. 4. This was right before he left for Iraq. 5. This was when he came home after a year in Korea (a few days before we got married) 6. This was Christmas when Roy was in Boot camp and got to come home for 2 weeks" And the larger photo is a present pic of us!
