That butterfly is amazing! All that stitching must have taken some time! I am glad to know I am not the only one who can't seem to take a straight picture of an LO.
Kendall on her graduation day, this year. This is for 2 challenges: Scrap Your Family Events, week 1 (75% red white and blue with a twist of black stitching), and the Blooming Butterfly challenge, with a twist of making your own butterfly. You can't tell in the pic, but the red paper is a little shimmery/metallic. My butterfly covers both twists. I cut it from white cardstock with my slice, and then hand-stitched it in blue, red, and black. I also made the transparency over the picture, and those awesome rub-on letters were a rak from Christine (aka Yesiamagrandmommy). They arrived while I was working on the lo, and Kendall saw them and loved them, so I altered my plan with the lo a little and used them. As always, the lo is not crooked, my picture taking skills are!
