This is just a glimpse of our annual July 4th Cul-de-sac party. We start by decorating a tree (dead branch) to match the theme of the party and the history of the party. This year, Red, White, and Blue. It stands for a much loved tree that was taken down by a man who got tired of driving around it. So for 15 years the neighbors have made a tree and burned it as a symbol of his illegal tree removal. Ya sorta gotta know the people to get it. This year they burned it in our fire pit.
