Just a simple layout of my DD, Kimberly and her hubby at Pensacola Beach in March 2009. The sunset was gorgeous that day. I wanted to keep this simple so that the focus would be on the photo. I used gold and blue cardstock for the layout, and the birds were cut with the Silhouette from white cardstock. I colored the birds with Copic pens for highlights. I printed the poem directly on the background cardstock. I added brown mesh, seashells, one Prima bloom and some Robin's Nest - Sunflower pearls. The white pearls are flat string pearls that I found at HL. The birds are pop-dotted for dimension. I used a white Signo pen to "frame" the photo and to add highlights to the title which was cut with a 4x8 QK alpha die cut (Chemistry). Super easy and quick layout! Poem reads:


When evening shadows fall
and another day is through,
this is the special time
I love to share with you.

You take me in your arms
As the stars begin to shine;
Your kisses are long and deep
Forever I know you'll be mine.

How I love the evenings
The moonlight, the stars and you;
Sharing our hopes and dreams,
Together we'll make them come true.
