Journaling Reads: It was quite the project, remodeling both the upper bathrooms. Luckily, we didn’t do much of the work ourselves this time. It was frustrating to go downstairs to shower or use the tiolet, and the construction mess was a bit overwhelming at times, but we knew it would be worth it and would help us sell our house. It was fun to choose the colors of the tiles and watch the progress. After about a week, we had the tub installed and the worker told us we could use it. Allison & Sarah liked it, until we turned on the jets! They were scared of that tub for weeks afterwards, though Joey, Michael, & Lillian couldn’t get enough of the bubbles. A few weeks after that, the job was virtually done -- just 2 days before Christmas. It would be three more weeks before our shower could be fixed and the final touches finished, but it was nice to have most of the mess gone.
