Halloween, 2008. 2nd page of a lo done for the Supermom Bingo Challenge (bugs), Meaningful Journaling Challenge, and Use It Or Lose It Challenge (Spiderweb pp). Nothing special done here, except inking the journaling.

Journaling reads:
2008 was our biggest and best Halloween yet! We spent over $1,000. on new props, and it really showed. Our major additions were the life-size green latex witch (my pride and joy), the farmer and his wife zombies, the swamp zombie, the joke-telling tombstone, the screaming hanging torso, and the sitting guy with the spinning head. We also added alot of smaller props like the vulture and rats, and the annual gravestone from Target, and we made our own gravestones for the first time. Brian cut them from plywood and I painted them. As per tradition, I weaved my own giant spider web instead of buying one, but this year I did it on the roof instead of the porch. We entered a contest for the Courier-Post, but did not win. We had a lot of Trick or Treaters, and many stopped back on their way home. For the 2nd year in a row, we had the usual candy for the kids, and jello-shots for the parents that wanted them. We find the jello-shots to be a big hit!
We had the usual scary Halloween usic coming from the speakers in the garage, which are hidden behind the "bloody" Welcome to the Asylum" tarp Kelsie and I made last year (the red-paint hand prints are still permanently on the driveway, haha). But this year we added 2 fog machines to the graveyard, and erie lighting all over. This was the most awesome Halloween we have ever done, and 2009 should be even better, as we bought more goodies on clearance the day after...

TFL!
