This was made for the challenge "mixed media." The only technique "new" for me was the tissue paper background. Cut the tissue paper at least 1/2 inch larger then finished size. Crumble it for lots of texture, carefully straighten it out, spread glue on base and pat the tissue paper on. After it dried, I cut the rough edges, I should have wrapped the edges around to back for a more finished look.
I used black mirco beads next to the feather.
