what a great layout for Michael. He was the king of pop, forever we will see is dance moves on the stage. such a same, sometimes I still can't believe he is dead. You've done a nice tribute and should be very proud.
Sue, you did an incredible job w/ this! I love how you hit so many highlights - every piece is meaningful, and it all fits together beautifully! He will be missed.
This is soooo amazing!! All the work and detailsin this are amazing. Is it a page or a cavas. I hope it's a canvas so you can display it for all to see. it truly is a work of art. many blessings to you!! Fav!!
You should be very proud of this lo, I think it is great, mj would have luved this, I have found sometimes when there is certain color blings on a page I have to put a towel over the top of the scanner, this works well. Such a special lo
I am so disappointed with how this photographed-you can not see all the bling. What would a tribute be of MJ without the bling. I have worked on this LO for a couple weeks. I finally ended up with something that I am happy with. The hardest part was trying to pick the right pictures and embellies that best show the highlights of Mj's career. I picked the photos that really made MJ famous. I will give some information for each photo: Starting left to right.
top left: This one is from the 1984 Grammy Awards: MJ won eight awards in 8 one year-He still holds the record for the most grammys won in one year.
top second: MJ was named artist of the Millenium-no other artist had ever received this honor. The highest music award ever granted to any artist.
second row-far left: MJ was the first artist to do a solo Superbowl performance. This performance still is ranked as one of the top three performances of the Superbowl.
second row middle: MJ at his best.
second row far right: MJ with his first born-Prince-love this photo.
Bottom far left: MJ in Billie Jean video-he was first African-American to have a video played on MTV-he led the way for other black artist to be on MTV.
Bottom middle: MJ doing the moonwalk at Motown 25-this performance skyrocket his career. He sang Billie Jean.
Bottom far right: MJ meets President Reagan and Nancy-who could forget his? The President made a statement-" I am so thiller to meet you"-ha!
I had to include MJ's organization-Heal the World-this was an organization that granted wishes to sick, dying and poor children. In addition, raised monies for world hunger. The stamp-yes, may countries had stamps with MJ-this is my favorite. Pinocchio was MJ's favorite cartoon character. Peter Pan, well MJ loved PP-need I explain more-"Neverland". Finally, the gold record for the Thiller album-still no one has sold more copies of one album. He will be missed and will his music forever inspire people-I hope you are now in peace. There are no reporters to follow you now. Forever your fan.
