Cassie and I spent some time in the hotel pool at my last scrapbook weekend back home in Indiana before I dropped her off at my parents'. The title comes from her swim suit which says 'Girls Rock.'
This is, once again, for several challenges. I can't help it -- I start doing a LO for one challenge, and as I work, I figure out ways to make it fit others. I don't do much volume, so I have to make my LO's count! LOL!
1. ABC Challenge Round 8 - KLM.
K - Knot: There is a knot tying the ends of the stitched circle, and knots in all the buttons.
L - Love: must have a photo of someone or something that you love. Of course, I love my dd!
M - Mosaic: The two larger circle photos are cut up in mosaics that mimic the pattern of the center photo mat.
2. Use Your Supplies - Week 3: Circles.
I did the twist to have 5 or more circles -- there are 3 circle photos, 2 pp circles, and a stitched circle. (The buttons don't count.)
3. VLB - Glitter.
The word GIRL is done w/ Glitter Thickers, and the word 'rocks' is done w/ glitter cardstock stickers.
4. Febuly Week 15.
We were given a photo of Gwen Stefani and were asked to create a lo inspired by that photo. I think the title fits!
I inked the edges and doodled around all the pp's and the chipboard pieces. The date and place are written by the big splash: March 13, 09 and Hammond Inn. I did a running stitch around the smaller circle photo with navy blue floss.
