Here's me with DH and DS from about 2 weeks ago. It was done for a couple of July challenges.
1.2 page LO
2.show me the cardboard-I painted my cardboard black and then used dabbers on top to distress it even more. I cut the rectangles so I could frame the photo and the journaling. The photo of the tracks on the right I crimped to mimic the cardboard.I heat embossed the tracks on the bottom with black
distress embossing powder. The railroad sign was cut with the cricut. The rest is all old Basic Grey scraps.
Journaling reads:
This was the starting point of our hike on Coldstream trail in Truckee, CA. We drove on dirt roads for about 3 or 4 miles til we reached the railroad tracks. Then we parked and got out to start our adventure. As we were crossing the tracks you dad said that it reminded him of the movie "Stand by me".
