This is a silly little LO inspired inspired by an E-mail my sister just had to send me.

Journaling is as follows:

Earwigs... are little bugs with intimidating pincers and at one time it was thought that they would sneak into a sleeper's ear and burrow into their brain... I found some in my garden and they are really creepy... have you ever seen one?

My sister's odd sense of humor demonstrated clearly... The first photo (of me suffering the after effects of a GNAT!!! flying into my ear canal) set her off on the whole EARWIG thing! The second photo was a re-enactment pose because she was still amused. And finally, she sent them both to me in an E-mail with the above truly lovely description of the little creatures.

I wanted a pretty chaotic look for this (at least in comparison to my normal, simple style). The background is cream cs painted with black, acrylic paint. I mounted the big photo on a piece of aqua pp that apears greener than that IRL (colors are just a bit off here). The flourish on the top left corner was stamped, cut out and matted on yellow and cut out again. I added an adhesive pink rhinestone crystal to it (and since posting... some Icicle Stickles) for some bling. The corners are just doodled on cs. The black oval is cut from the inside (normally unused portion) of a precut chipboard frame. The little EARWIG photo is just one I printed from the internet. The black star and center are glittered stickers. The pink swirls are some felt fusion ribbon. The flourish above the smaller photo is a rub on. The strips of cs added around the smaller photo were inspired by two images in my favorites gallery. One was Dolled Up by * Sandy * (I can't figure out how she did her squiggle marks) and the other was Love that Smile by Gayle3131I mounted that photo on zig zag scissor cut mat and doodled on it. The photo's wording was added via computer... prior to printing. And finally the title was stamped with various alpha stamp sets on different cs colors. Epoxy was added to them for more interest and brads make up the puncuation.
