journaling::
we explored the aroboretum this afternoon. you were not as excited to read all the names of the flowers as you were to chase the butterflies. it was so fun to watch you frollic in nature and experience the delight of its creatures. it took a while to get you to understand that you needed to be still in order for a butterfly to land on your finger but once you did and once the butterfly did you screamed with delight which prompted the butterfly to swiftly fly away. But that was all you needed, that tickle on your finger to feel connected with nature this day., Which makes it a perfect and well spent day. june 2009
