My husband and I have a very different opinion as to how useful our lawn mower is to our needs. You see, when Garrett first move back to Florida he gave me his treasured lawnmower he brought down from Boston. We did landscaping together, we would get frustrated repairing it together, and we shared it when he moved to his lake property. Now that he has passed I continue to mow, repair and get frustrated at its breakdowns(as does my husband). He wants a new mower but I have an irrational need to keep it going. Too many memories attached to this mower......"I am not ready to let go". So I will continue to call the mower repairman when I am having no success and I will continue to keep it alive as long as I can.....something I was unable to do for my brother. My husband no longer tries to reason with me now that he has seen this LO and is aware of my deep need for whatever closeness to my bro that I can hang on to. P.S. I used natural fiber paper made with real grass for the "gift" lettering. Photo:circa 1985
